Parvitech and LeNoir Partnership Brings Practical Digital Skills to Zimbabwe
Parvitech Enterprises has partnered with the LeNoir Foundation to introduce TypeSpark Africa in Zimbabwe, an initiative aimed at building practical digital skills alongside access to technology. The move is expected to strengthen how students, institutions and businesses use technology, shifting the focus from simply owning devices to using them effectively.
Through this partnership, every laptop purchased from Parvitech will now come with a free 90-day typing licence. According to Munyaradzi Mumbure, Founder and CEO of Parvitech Enterprises, the goal is to ensure that technology delivers real value. “From today, every laptop you get from Parvitech comes with a FREE 90-day typing licence, because technology should empower, not just exist,” he said.
This approach addresses a key gap in many African markets, where access to devices has improved but digital skills remain limited. Mumbure added that the initiative is designed to close that gap and drive meaningful outcomes. “This is how we move from access → impact,” he said.
Expanding Access While Building Skills
Founded in March 2022, Parvitech Enterprises has grown from modest beginnings, starting with just two Itel phones, into a national supplier of laptops and computing solutions. Today, the company works with schools, organisations and businesses across Zimbabwe, helping them access the tools needed to operate in a digital environment.
The company’s growth has been driven by a focus on accessibility and reliability. By offering flexible payment plans and pre-order options, Parvitech has made it easier for institutions and individuals to acquire modern devices without financial strain. This model has helped expand the reach of technology to communities that may have previously been excluded.
The addition of TypeSpark Africa strengthens this offering by ensuring that users can develop essential skills such as typing, which remains a basic but critical requirement in today’s digital economy. By combining hardware with training, the initiative supports productivity, learning outcomes and workplace readiness.
Parvitech’s long-term vision is to go beyond Zimbabwe and become a leading supplier of modern technologies across Africa and beyond. Its mission remains focused on delivering practical solutions that support both individuals and businesses while contributing to growth in the technology sector.
Addressing the Digital Divide in Education
The partnership also aligns with the work of the LeNoir Foundation, which focuses on improving access to digital literacy and learning resources in underserved communities. The organisation operates in Zimbabwe and Uganda, working to make it easier for sponsors to support laptop access and digital training for students.
In many African primary schools, challenges such as overcrowded classrooms, limited access to textbooks and lack of internet connectivity continue to affect learning outcomes. These barriers not only limit academic progress but also reduce exposure to digital tools that are essential in modern education and employment.
LeNoir Foundation addresses these challenges by establishing libraries and e-learning laboratories equipped with books and internet access. These spaces are designed to create safe and interactive environments where students, particularly girls, can develop digital skills and gain exposure to global knowledge.
By partnering with Parvitech, the foundation is extending its impact through a more integrated approach that combines infrastructure with skill development. The inclusion of typing training through TypeSpark Africa complements the foundation’s efforts to improve digital literacy at an early stage.
The collaboration reflects a broader shift in how technology initiatives are being implemented across Africa. Rather than focusing only on distribution of devices, there is growing emphasis on ensuring that users have the skills to fully benefit from them.
As Zimbabwe continues to expand its digital economy, initiatives such as this are expected to play an important role in preparing students and professionals for future opportunities.
