The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Continent 3, has launched a free digital skills programme to train 8,400 beneficiaries to mark the 84th birthday of its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

The initiative is coordinated by Love Transformation Academy, the empowerment arm of RCCG Love Assembly, Lagos Province 1, in partnership with Faith Cometh Multimedia Consultants. It will run for three Sundays from March 1.

Speaking at a press conference at RCCG Love Assembly, the Continent 3 Overseer, Pastor Johnson Funsho Odesola, said the programme reflected Adeboye’s commitment to education and youth development.

Participants will be trained in video editing, graphic design, digital marketing, social media management, animation, content creation and monetisation.

Odesola, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Love Transformation Academy, Pastor Olalekan Adebekun, said parishes across Continent 3 will serve as study centres, with sessions delivered via Zoom.

He said the arrangement would enable participants without internet access or devices to learn at designated church centres and receive mentorship and follow-up support.

The church urged youths, students, job seekers and entrepreneurs to enrol in the programme, which it said would enhance employability and support digital entrepreneurship.
