Advanced Data Processing Course Concludes at MCTE, Enhancing Digital Skills for Officers
The Advanced Data Processing Course for Record Officers recently concluded at the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE) in Mhow, marking a significant step in enhancing the technical capabilities of military personnel. This course, which wrapped up on 20 March 2026, focused on equipping officers with critical skills required for the contemporary digital landscape.
Emphasizing the importance of modern record management, the curriculum provided comprehensive training in various domains including Record Office Automation Software, basic cybersecurity measures, networking, database management, and analytical systems. The skills gained from this course empower officers to handle records with increased efficiency and accuracy, aligning military processes with current digital standards.
The valedictory ceremony for the graduating officers was presided over by Major General Gautam Mahajan, SM, Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor of MCTE. During the ceremony, he acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the participants, presenting awards to those who excelled throughout the course and underscoring the importance of their training.
Among the honorees, Major Boopathi B of the Sikh Regiment Records was recognized as the Best Student of the course, an achievement that highlights his exceptional performance and commitment to mastering the curriculum.
