
Brook T. Smith Launchpad to hold introductory entrepreneurship course for faculty, staff and graduate students
Ready to explore entrepreneurship? This June, Clemson staff, faculty, and graduate students are invited to join a free four-week crash course from the Brook T. Smith Launchpad covering the fundamentals of starting your own venture.
Each Tuesday from June 3-24, Clemson staff can attend the “Side Hustle to Startup” course from 12–1 p.m., while faculty and grad students are invited to the Founders Academy from 4–5 p.m. All sessions are held at the Brook T. Smith Launchpad at 390 College Ave. in Clemson. Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up by June 1. Free pizza will be served.
Topics include:
- June 3: Refining your idea
- June 10: Identifying customers & creating value
- June 17: Conducting Your Competitor Analysis
- June 24: Making Sure You Make Money
- Online: Understanding Legal Issues
Participants will have the opportunity to earn a certificate upon completion.

Join us on this four-week entrepreneurship bootcamp learning experience designed for Clemson faculty and graduate students. Content will include the basics of launching a startup business. Apply by June 1.
Side Hustle to Startup: A Crash Course on Entrepreneurship (for staff)
Come learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship! Join us weekly, starting Tuesday, June 3 at 12 p.m. at the Brook T. Smith Launchpad, for a course of insightful discussions with like-minded staff peers and instructors, practical learning, and skill enhancement. Apply by June 1.
