Cultus and CSC Partner to Expand Digital Literacy and Job Training in Rural India — Transcontinental Times
INDIA: Cultus Education and Technology Services has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Common Services Centres (CSC), marking a new collaboration to provide job readiness and digital literacy programs to underserved communities across India.
The partnership seeks to address the gap between education and employment by delivering practical, outcome-focused training programs through CSC’s extensive network of community service centers. These centers, located across India’s rural and semi-urban regions, will serve as access points for learners to develop key employability skills.

According to Pravin Chandekar, CEO of CSC Academy, the initiative is part of an ongoing effort to “digitally empower Bharat” by equipping individuals with skills that support sustainable livelihoods. “This collaboration strengthens our shared mission,” he said.
Gaurav Arora, Country Head of Cultus, emphasized the role of geography in limiting opportunity. “Partnering with CSC allows us to reach youth in remote areas and connect them with tools for economic advancement,” Arora said.
The programs are expected to roll out in phases and will focus on digital fluency, career development, and job readiness, with an emphasis on practical outcomes and local impact.
This development comes amid growing efforts by both public and private sectors to strengthen India’s digital and employability infrastructure, particularly in non-metro regions.
