CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Dunkin’ and Make-A-Wish Vermont & Northeast New York are coming together to raise money for the nonprofit. Guests at participating Dunkin’ locations who donate $1 or more to Make-A-Wish will receive a free specialty donut.

The campaign runs from Sept. 12 to Sept. 21. The specialty donut will be given out while supplies last. The money raised will go toward granting wishes for local children.

“Dunkin’ is proud to continue our partnership with Make-A-Wish Vermont & Northeast New York, an organization that does so much for children in our community,” said upstate New York Dunkin’ franchisee Tom Santurri. “Each year, our specialty donuts — topped with white icing and blue sprinkles in honor of Make-A-Wish — bring joy to our guests, and we’re honored to help make wishes come true for kids across the Capital Region.”

This is the second year the partnership has taken place in the Capital Region. The Make-A-Wish Donut campaign raised $21,249 in 2024 for the local chapter.
