Ezechiel Abouro Djallo | Economist
Ezéchiel Abouro Djallo is a statistician‑economist with more than seventeen years of experience in public policies design and evaluation, and development research across West Africa.
He recently served as an Education Economist at the World Bank in Côte d’Ivoire, where he contributed to the preparation, supervision, and completion of key education projects, while also supporting teams working in other countries.
Before joining the Bank, he founded and directed Zechlab, a research firm specializing in survey design, quantitative data collection, and impact evaluations. Ezechiel is also a co-founder of a think tank in Togo: the Center for Research and Opinion Polls (CROP). Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with multiple international institutions including the World Bank, AfDB, and leading universities on projects spanning education, employment, agriculture, governance, and social protection.
Currently a PhD candidate in Economics at ENSEA in Abidjan, Ezéchiel’s research explores how digital skills shape educational outcomes and productivity in Côte d’Ivoire, with a focus on leveraging data-driven insights to inform policies that promote skills development and inclusive growth. He combines rigorous analytical and operational expertise, extensive field experience, and a strong commitment to evidence‑based policymaking aimed at improving development outcomes across the region.
