Tyrrell County Library is offering a free series of digital skills classes on Wednesdays. The program is designed to help community members gain essential technology skills for everyday life.
“These sessions are part of the library’s ongoing commitment to bridging the digital divide by providing accessible tech education and support. Topics may include internet basics, email setup, online safety, using mobile devices, accessing online resources, and more,” noted the announcement of the classes.
Each weekly session will run for two hours and cover practical, easy-to-follow topics, including:
- Basic Computer Skills
- Online Safety and Privacy
- Finding Trusted Information Online
- Using Healthcare Services Online
- Smartphone Basics
- Smartphone Intermediate
- iPad and Hotspot Basics
This opportunity is ideal for anyone looking to become more confident using laptops, smartphones, tablets and the internet in a supportive and hands-on environment.
