To make money in GTA Online, you’ll need to buy a whole bunch of properties that can generate income. One property that can rake in the big bucks is an Agency, which gives you access to the Data Leaks Contract, where you’ll help Dr. Dre recover his unreleased music that was stolen. However, aside from that, you can also accept Security Contracts, which are a variety of small jobs that usually end with you murdering a whole lot of bad guys.

Performing Security Contracts can potentially be a solid way to make money, especially during a week when these jobs earn double the money they usually do. This guide will demonstrate how to start a Security Contract and how to complete the different kinds of contracts that will become available.

How To Start A Security Contract In GTA Online

Before players can take on Security Contracts, they must own an Agency. To purchase one, you just need to access GTA Online’s version of the internet from your in-game cell phone. Then navigate to the Money And Services tab, and enter the Dynasty 8 Executive website to look at the available Agency properties.

After you’ve bought and set up your Agency, enter your office and access your computer. Once you’re logged in, you’ll see the section for Security Contracts in the top left of the screen. Each contract will have one of three difficulty levels: Professional, Specialist, and Specialist+. The higher the difficulty, the more money you’ll earn from the contract. There will be three jobs to choose from, so simply select whichever job you want to play.

When you finish a Security Contract, there will be a five-minute cooldown until you can choose another. So you’ll have to waste some time in between contracts.

How To Complete Every Security Contract In GTA Online

There are 6 different kinds of Security Contracts you can select in your Agency. The objectives will be different, but they all send you to a location where you’ll shoot a lot of enemies. Here’s every Security Contract you can play:

Gang Termination

The title of this contract sums up what you’ll have to do. Once you reach the location, there will be a red circle on the map. In this circle will be a gang of enemies for you to kill. However, the objective isn’t to kill everyone. Instead, you need to find the gang’s enforcers and eliminate them. Once these specific enemies have been dealt with, you just need to leave the area to complete the contract.

Liquidize Assets

While this sounds like a simple, corporate gig, it’s just a fancy way of saying blow up some stuff. You’ll start the contract by tailing an enemy to their hideout. Once you get there, you’ll enter the hideout, shoot everyone inside, destroy the assets in question, and plant explosives on the walls. Exit the hideout, wait for the explosion to go off, and the contract is finished.

Asset Protection

This is sort of the opposite of the previous contract type. You’ll be tasked with protecting some assets from waves of enemies who want to destroy them. You’ll need to mow them down as they come in and prevent as many assets as possible from being damaged. Some enemies will be armed with Molotov cocktails and will show up on the map as flames. Be sure to prioritize killing them first as they will do way damage than regular enemies. Protect the assets until the 10-minute timer runs out and you’ll succeed.

Rescue Operation

A client has been abducted by enemies. You’ll travel to the area where they’re being held hostage, and look for signs of their whereabouts. This will be indicated by red smoke. Take out all the enemies in the area, then gather the hostage who will have a blue arrow over their head. You’ll need to dodge the pursuing enemies that will show up, and take the hostage to a safe house that will be marked on the map.

Vehicle Recovery

A stolen vehicle needs to be recovered. You’ll have to enter a building and gun down all the enemies inside. Then you need to locate the stolen vehicle, find a button to open up the way out of the building, and drive the vehicle back to your agency. This one can be tricky as you’ll be pursued by enemies the whole way back, and they can damage the vehicle enough to destroy it.

Recover Valuables

This is similar to the last contract, but instead of a vehicle, you need to recover a valuable item such as an expensive wristwatch. When you arrive, you’ll enter a building and kill the enemies inside. Then you need to look for a yellow Post-it note that will be marked with a green arrow on it. Once you find that, you need to locate the safe and open it to recover the valuable item. Leave the building, avoid the various waves of enemies that will pursue you, and return to the Agency to end this contract.
