This week’s guest star is no exception.
Join Robby Robinson as he rolls out the red carpet for the incredible H.B. Barnum!
“This week, on 𝐉𝐚𝐦’𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐯𝐚, I’m thrilled to welcome the legendary 𝐇.𝐁. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐮𝐦! H.B. has done it all — arranger, producer, songwriter, and musical director for icons from 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧 and 𝐋𝐨𝐮 𝐑𝐚𝐰𝐥𝐬 to 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐚.”, said Jam’ n Java Host, Robby Robinson. “His fingerprints are all over the soundtrack of our lives, and his stories are every bit as remarkable as his music. Don’t miss this special evening of music, memories, and inspiration with one of the true giants of the business.”

H.B. Barnum is an exceptionally prolific, versatile, gifted and multitalented singer, songwriter, producer, arranger, music director, pianist, former child actor, and a man of great faith, who excels, in both sacred and secular music, and often uses his gifts for a “higher calling” at his church!

H.B. Barnum’s natural acting ability was discovered in a talent show around the age of four. He performed in popular television shows such as The Jack Benny Show and Amos and Andy as a youngster.
His early work as a musician included stints with The Dootones and The Robins. His biggest hit as a solo artist was “Lost Love” in 1961 and he recorded three major albums as a solo artist in the 1960s.
His keen knack for producing, promoting and arranging music has afforded him the opportunity to form his own record label and become an arranger for a multitude of stellar professionals, including superstars such as Frank Sinatra, Lou Rawls, Gladys Knight, Count Basie, Aretha Franklin, Little Richard and The Supremes to name just a few.

As a songwriter, he has composed numerous songs, including “Your Love”, a hit in the 1970s for Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr.
