May 2026 courses: Expanding horizons in Digital Journalism, Media and Communication

Next May 2026, Al Jazeera Media Institute continues to advance its mission of building and empowering media and non-media professionals across diverse fields of media, public relations, and communication. This is represented by a range of programs that blend digital journalism, mobile production skills, crisis management, TV presentation, and audio-visual design.
The Institute dedicates significant focus to digital journalism and platform-based content creation, alongside other training tracks designed to strengthen capabilities of professionals working within and beyond media institutions in order to keep pace with market demands and the evolving digital landscape.
At the beginning of the month, programs focus on equipping participants with storytelling and digital production tools. These include a creative writing course, mobile content design and editing courses, mobile documentary storytelling, a workshop on creating professional Reels content, as well as two programs on Artificial Intelligence in Media (in-person/evening and online), in addition to courses on crisis management on digital platforms and digital performance analysis.
These courses target journalists, content creators, and professionals in communication and public relations departments who seek to enhance their institutions’ digital presence using modern practical tools.
In the second half of the month, the program shifts toward deepening television, audio, and managerial presence skills through courses such as: Introduction to TV presentation, Voice focus and elocution skills, Preparing and presenting critical programs, Crisis management, Copyright in Digital Media, Advanced Illustrator, Audio Engineering, Creative management, Producing human stories in Digital Journalism, and Negotiation and persuasion Skills.
Through this diverse portfolio of in-person and online courses, Al Jazeera Media Institute remains committed to delivering an integrated training pathway that benefits media professionals and employees across various institutions locally and internationally, continuing its pursuit of building highly professional and impactful media cadres.
