It feels like just about everyone has some kind of side hustle going on right now, trying to bring in a little extra money as the cost of groceries, housing, and just the cost of living in general keeps going up.

More Ways to Make Money Than Ever Before

There was a time when a side gig was more about extra spending money. You’d use it for fun, maybe a trip or something you didn’t really need. These days, it still counts as extra income, but it feels more like a necessity than anything else.

And there are way more ways to make money now than there used to be. It wasn’t that long ago that selling online basically meant eBay. Now you’ve got platforms like Poshmark, Etsy, Depop, and Whatnot, and that is just scratching the surface.

Even Facebook Marketplace has become a go-to for people looking to clear out stuff and make a few bucks. However, it’s no longer used for vacation money; most use it for groceries, bills, and getting by.

From Fun Money To Everyday Necessity

That’s always been the Montana way, though. We adapt. Living out here has never been easy, and people have always had to work a little harder to make it.
