MOUNT CARMEL — A Northumberland County woman who police say admitted stealing about $200,000 from the man she was engaged to marry is headed for court.

Danyel Cambrea Balonis, 27, of Elysburg, on Wednesday waived Ralpho Township police charges of theft and receiving stolen property to county court. She is free on personal recognizance.

Michael Oley, co-owner of SOS Metals Inc., near Mount Carmel, reported his fiancée to police in April, accusing her of taking money from a bag of cash he brought home with him every day for safekeeping.
