Under the patronage of Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, PETRONAS, through its subsidiary in Egypt,  inaugurated a newly refurbished computer lab at Mustafa Musharafa School on September 29. This initiative will enable over 1,600 students to develop essential digital skills and integrate technology into their learning.

The initiative is part of PETRONAS Egypt’s commitment to supporting education and community development, while contributing to Egypt’s Vision 2030 goals for inclusive and equitable learning opportunities.

The digital lab is designed to develop and empower future-ready talents by enhancing digital literacy and fostering innovation, in line with national priorities for human capital development and technological resilience.

“Education is the foundation for lasting change, and at PETRONAS, we are committed to empowering future generations. By supporting schools like Mustafa Musharafa, we’re not only enhancing educational environments—we’re helping to shape the future generation of students,” said Hany Esmat, Chief Executive Officer and Country Chair of PETRONAS Egypt.
