FUJAIRAH, 3rd May, 2025 (WAM) – Under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the second phase of Fujairah’s Young Techpreneurs initiative was launched today at the Zayed Educational Complex in the Emirate of Fujairah.

The initiative, organised by the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah in collaboration with Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), aims to empower the emerging generations with digital skills and promote technical innovation in the emirate.

The second phase of the initiative will be conducted entirely online, using smart, interactive educational platforms. Participants from across the Emirate of Fujairah will have the opportunity to enroll in training programs from their homes, enhancing learning flexibility and expanding access to target groups.

The first phase of the initiative launched on April 6, with the participation of more than 240 students from the emirate. It received widespread engagement from students and parents, thanks to the advanced educational content and interactive learning experience it offered that kept pace with the aspirations of the new generation.

Dr Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, affirmed that the initiative represents a strategic step toward empowering the younger generation with the tools of the digital future. He pointed out that cooperation with Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University provides outstanding academic support through the delivery of specialized training content via its educational platform. This includes key areas such as artificial intelligence, programming, entrepreneurship, and cybersecurity, in addition to direct supervision by a select group of experts and instructors.

Al Zeyoudi noted that the second phase of the initiative continues the successes achieved in its first phase and reflects the Emirate of Fujairah’s commitment to promoting smart education and providing an environment that nurtures innovation and technical excellence. The goal is to support the path of sustainable development and to build a generation of national talents capable of leading digital transformation and contributing effectively to the economy of the future.

The initiative aims to prepare a generation that is technologically proficient and qualified to meet the demands of the digital future through a series of interactive workshops, specialised sessions, and evaluative activities designed to enhance innovative thinking and a spirit of initiative among participants.

This first-of-its-kind initiative, which has been delivered by a team of experts and specialists in the field of technology for over three months, offers a comprehensive educational platform that combines both theoretical and practical knowledge in an interactive environment for students.

The programme aims to support participants in acquiring advanced skills and exploring fields such as cybersecurity, programming, and artificial intelligence, helping them develop their skills. It also relies on an integrated, hands-on educational model that includes interactive workshops and practical simulations in programming and AI.
