Solitaire is one of the most popular single-player card games. The game involves a standard 52-card deck, with the intention of building four suits, or four complete piles of cards, starting with the King and ending with the Ace.

With the creation of the internet, the game made its way to digital card tables via apps and gaming websites. Since then, it has only evolved. Now, you can do even more than just play a simple round of cards; you can make money by winning.

Originally, the name of Solitaire referred to one-player games, as the name is similar to “solitude.” There are many versions, such as Klondike, Canfield and Spider. Spider Solitaire is one of the most popular types, combining two decks and winning the game by using up all eight piles.

Online games came before personal monetizable ones. “Solitaire Grand Harvest” is one of the most profitable online Solitaire games on the internet. Created in 2017, the idea is very simple. It follows a classic TriPeaks solitaire mechanic.

Each level the player completes contributes to the progress of crops on the player’s farm. While the app can charge players real money to advance and bet more easily in the game, people do not inherently make money from it themselves.

In most of these games, winning money is possible, but not guaranteed. Solitaire Cash, Solitaire Smash and Solitaire Stash all have 2-3 payout times and are seen as some of the best solitaire apps this year. They all, among other online games, have a minimum payout of $5-$10 through PayPal, Apple Pay and bank transfers.

“We’ve carefully designed the game to have a smooth and modern feel to it and threw in some classic Klondike Solitaire game elements we all love,” Solitaire Cash app developers declared.

Solitaire Cash was developed by Papaya Gaming Ltd. and markets itself as a skill-based competition. There have been some complaints about the delay in withdrawals and high competition, but it is otherwise a very credible app.

These games work by people paying to enter competitions and tournaments to play against other people. If players are not placed high or do poorly in their competitions, then no money is earned.

There are free tournaments where players can get practice before playing with real money. There are different stakes in each tournament, so newer players should likely stick with games that are not as tricky as the more expensive ones.

Solitaire apps are not replacements for making money or a way to get around working. They are difficult and cost money in their own right.

TikToker @asiouL made a video commenting on her experience with Solitaire Cash.

“Don’t play any games on your phone, no matter how innocent they are,” asiouL said. “I have not seen the light of day in three days. Let’s just say I did not make any money … Some money was lost.”

Another TikTok user, @morganss44, had a similar experience with Solitaire Smash. The user is a mom of two and makes videos about herself and her family.

“Omg I’ve been playing solitaire smash for one week, and this is how much I’ve made already,” morganss44 wrote. “$1,300.”

The text on her video then changed.

“Lmao just kidding: $0.3.”

Games that have high ratings and are reputable are more likely to give players real money. Apps with confusing rules, payouts and customer support issues may not be as safe to play.

Some more solitaire cash apps include Rewarded Play, Swagbucks, Solitaire, InboxDollars, Classic Solitaire, Mistplay, Solitaire Arena, AppStation and Solitaire Cube. The latter has gotten many complaints about customers not getting payouts, so users must continue to play these games with caution.

Something else to note is that this type of money-making is not legal in every state. Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut and Delaware are just some of the states that have made this inaccessible for inhabitants.
