VIRAL: In today’s social media world, getting likes and followers has become an obsession. Some people cross all limits just to go viral, even if it means posting offensive or vulgar content. But such shortcuts can lead to serious trouble. Something similar happened in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal district, where a group of women and a man were arrested for posting obscene videos on Instagram.

Earning Money Through Vulgar Reels:

The Sambhal police recently arrested three women, Mehrul Nisha alias Pari, Mehak, and Hina, along with a man named JarrarAlam. They were reportedly running an Instagram account filled with bold and vulgar videos, which helped them earn around Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 every month. Their aim? To gain more followers and make money online.

Police Crack Down After Tip-Off:

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Krishan Kumar Bishnoi, the arrests were made after they got a tip from the Asmoli area. When police started digging deeper, they found out that this group was uploading sexually suggestive and abusive videos just to grab attention on social media. SP Bishnoi said, “Everyone has the right to express themselves on social platforms, but this does not mean one can disregard public decency and societal norms.”

Police Send Strong Message to Social Media Users

Authorities have urged people to use social media within limits. They warned users against sharing or promoting such content. The SP added, “Use social media responsibly and within the boundaries of decency.”
