Serving the future: young talent aims high in APAC hospitality and tourism is an Economist Impact report, supported by the Macao Government Tourism Office. It explores the role of young professionals in the future of hospitality and tourism in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The analysis draws on two surveys conducted in July 2025: one of 308 young workers and students, the other of 311 senior executives. Additional insights were obtained from in-depth interviews with senior industry executives, young industry professionals and other experts.
