Need some fresh reading material for the summer?

Four used book sales at four Lancaster County libraries over the next two months will offer thousands of items for sale — something to suit every reader’s taste.

And while you’re finding literary treasures, CDs, DVDs, puzzles and more at those sales, you’ll be helping support the programs of the libraries.

The fundraising sales include the annual Big Book Sale, held on the Franklin & Marshall College campus, that benefits the Lancaster Public Library.

Here are upcoming book sales to put on your calendar.

Thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, audio books and puzzles will be available for purchase.

The sale runs from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 14 (preceded by a 3-5 p.m. preview for Friends of the Manheim Community Library members only); along with 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, May 16-17; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17. Saturday is “bag sale” day, where you can get two bags of books for $10.
