Zain concludes 4th season of Kuwait Codes with CODED

KUWAIT: Zain Kuwait announced the successful conclusion of the fourth season of the “Kuwait Codes” program in strategic partnership with CODED Academy. This year’s cohort graduated more than 1,000 students, bringing the program’s total graduates to over 4,500 since launch, a milestone that reflects the strength of the partnership and the joint effort to empower Kuwaiti youth and build their skills for an innovation-driven digital economy.

Zain participated in the closing ceremony held at the Kuwait University Conference Center in Shadadiya, where the company honored the graduating students and presented the Zain Youth and Community Award to the winning student project that most effectively serves youth.

The ceremony also recognized outstanding students across the program’s different tracks, including web development, Python programming, app development, and cybersecurity. Special honors included the Exhibition Audience Choice Award, Excellence in Cybersecurity, Most Market-Ready Project, Digital Sustainability Award, Best Artificial Intelligence Project, Best Idea, Best Design, and the CODED Excellence Award.

This season featured two primary training tracks, cybersecurity and Python programming using artificial intelligence techniques, introduced for the first time within the program. Python is among the world’s most widely used languages due to its versatility and ease of learning, making it an ideal choice for developing students’ technical skills.

The season’s conclusion capped a program marked by richer content and an integrated learning experience delivered with partners from both the public and private sectors. Zain reaffirmed its commitment to a corporate sustainability strategy that places digital education and youth empowerment at the forefront, alongside its ongoing collaboration with CODED on complementary initiatives that build national technical capabilities.

In his keynote address to the students, Waleed Al-Khashti, Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer, said: “You have proven that your passion for learning and experimentation can turn hours of training into real experience, and that the curiosity you carry is the key to building a promising digital future. Every line of code you wrote and every idea you created is part of Kuwait’s digital future, a Kuwait led by an aware, creative generation equipped with knowledge.”
