The Governing Board of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) has today approved the amendment to the Digital Europe Cybersecurity Work Programme 2025-2027, ensuring new resources for two strategic initiatives: the development of AI Gigafactories and the establishment of Regional Cable Hubs.

In conjunction with this decision, the ECCC has also launched the first call for proposals under this renewed work programme. With a total budget of €50 million, the call is dedicated to the implementation of cybersecurity in various application fields, providing immediate support for high-impact projects.
