COLUMBUS—Residents needing help with computers, smartphones, or other digital tools can now take advantage of free one-on-one electronics assistance offered through Polk County Libraries.
The program offers free appointments, both online and in person, at the Columbus and Saluda public libraries. Participants can schedule a session by visiting grahamtownnonprofits.org/schedule.html or by calling 828-305-5591.
The service is designed to help community members improve digital skills and confidence when using technology. Assistance is available for a range of common technology needs, including help with smartphones, tablets or iPads, software, printers, and email accounts.
Participants can also receive guidance on online safety and general computer security. The program aims to make technology more accessible by offering personalized support tailored to each person’s needs.
The service is made possible through grant funding from Dogwood Health Trust’s Digital Opportunities Initiative and through the work of the Digital Bridge Collaborative.
Appointments are free, but scheduling in advance is recommended to ensure availability.
