Google signs 2-year partnership with South Africa higher education department on skills training

Google South Africa and the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) have signed a two-year agreement which will roll out an initial 10,000 scholarships as part of a national AI and digital skills initiative. The MoU is DHET’s fourth public-private partnership focused on student and youth skills development in the post-school education and training (PSET) system with artificial intelligence (AI) and digital skills.
