The Smarter Service, a tech concierge provider for older adults and senior living communities, is partnering with MorningStar Senior Living to host a series of free workshops called “Tech Frontier: Navigating the Digital World.”

These small-group, in-person sessions are designed for older adults looking to boost their digital skills and build confidence with tech in a friendly, hands-on environment.

Sessions are open to the public and all tech skill levels are welcome. While classes are geared toward older adults, all are welcome to attend.

“How to Navigate Online Medical Resources” will be held Wednesday, May 14, from 3 to 4 p.m.

Participants will discover top health and wellness apps that make managing their well-being easier and safer.

The instructor is Johanna Kolb, a tech concierge with The Smarter Service

Then, on Wednesday, June 11, from 3 to 4 p.m., “Boosting Your Tech Literacy” will allow participants to get comfortable with smart devices. They will learn key tech terms, how to make wise digital purchases and what’s new in consumer tech. Kolb again will lead the class.

RSVP is required for these classes. Call Kris at MorningStar at 480-708-3437 or send an email to ftnhills.dcr@mstarliving.com at least two days before the session to reserve a spot.

The workshops are held at MorningStar Senior Living, 16800 E. Paul Nordin Parkway.
