The Ijede Development Foundation (IDF) has announced its annual scholarship awards, quiz and debate competitions and public lecture with appeals for sponsorship and support from the general public.

Aside the request for support towards the continuous attainment of the initiative aimed at promoting human capital development, IDF is also seeking for support towards its free computer programmes.

The appeal was made in a statement signed by the IDF Secretary, Mr Kunle Matti.

“We are pleased to announce the 9th Edition of our annual flagship event, which includes the following key programmes: 1. IDF Scholarship Award, 2. Quiz & Debate Competition and 3. Public Lecture.

“These initiatives are designed to promote education and foster human capital development in our beloved town.

“In this regard, we humbly appeal for sponsorship and support towards any of the above programmes, to ensure their continued success and impact.

“Additionally, we are seeking financial support for the ongoing FREE COMPUTER TRAINING Programme, which aims to equip our children with essential digital skills and computer literacy,” IDF said.

IDF has over the years being supporting human capital development in Ijede LCDA with the provision of scholarships to support several indigent students in their undergraduate studies and many of whom supported have graduated and started contributing to the society.

The developmental organization has also been promoting educational growth at the secondary and primary education levels.
