Creativity, youth and technology are coming together in Larnaca soon as the Makers Fair 2025 approaches. For the third consecutive year, the multidisciplinary festival of the Youth Makerspace Larnaka by the Cyprus Youth Organisation returns to celebrate the Makers’ Movement, promoting innovation, encouraging experimentation and showcasing the power of creation.

On June 14 at 5pm, the Youth Makerspace venue, next to Salina Park in Larnaca, will once again transform into a meeting point for professional and amateur creators of all ages, with a special focus on young people and their potential.

The Makers Fair, now an established event in the local community and a key initiative of the Youth Makerspace Larnaka, aims to promote technology and digital skills, innovation, design and creativity. Visitors will have the opportunity to get inspired and take part in educational workshops led by experts, as well as engage in hands-on activities and demonstrations themed around hands-on making and the diversity of the STEAM field.

At the same time, they will discover the capabilities of the venue’s technological equipment through prototype exhibitions, projects, and interactive booths by makers, organisations, and institutions, along with a photography exhibition.

The event is open to all ages and invites people with shared interests to a welcoming environment for idea exchange, creative dialogue and collaboration development, strengthening the sense of artistic community and collective creation. Local businesses will enrich the experience with street food, drinks, and sweets, while musical artist Alejjos supports the makers’ movement with his own creative identity.
