Call for contributions: Inclusive digital employment services from PES and public institutions
The International Labour Organization, in collaboration with the World Association of Public Employment Services, invites Public Employment Services (PES) and other public institutions to share practices that promote disability inclusion in digital employment services and labour markets.
Selected contributions will be featured in a global publication informing policy and practice. Contributing organizations will also be invited to participate in a future training module for job counsellors (planned for 2027).
About the initiative
Employment services play a central role in connecting people with disabilities to jobs through counselling, job matching, employer engagement and post-placement support. Public institutions, particularly Public Employment Services, are key to delivering and coordinating these services at scale.
As labour markets and service delivery systems become increasingly digital, these actors are leveraging tools such as online platforms, remote service delivery and data-driven systems to expand reach and improve outcomes.
Who should contribute
We welcome submissions from:
-
Public Employment Services (PES)
-
Ministries and public institutions responsible for employment, labour or skills development
-
Public agencies implementing employment-related programmes
-
National or subnational institutions working in partnership with PES
Submissions from low- and middle-income countries, fragile settings and refugee-hosting contexts are strongly encouraged.
