The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Mr Samuel Nartey George, has received the Chief Executive Officer of Global Tech Firm Code Raccoon, Mr Jorn Halsinger, to discuss collaboration on Ghana’s flagship digital skills and training programme.

The meeting held on Thursday, in Accra, focused on integrating Code Raccoon’s Ambylon learning platform into the Government’s central digital training portal.

Mr George indicated that the partnership would expand access to industry-relevant skills in areas such as artificial intelligence, coding, and entrepreneurship.

He noted the Government’s priority of creating a seamless, user-friendly learning experience, where learners can access thousands of courses through a single national interface. Integrations with partners, including Google and Coursera, are being structured to allow users to connect to external platforms without leaving the Government’s portal.

“We are building a unified system where learners can access thousands of courses through one interface. Once a user selects a course, the system seamlessly connects them to the provider’s platform through API integration,” the Minister stated.

Mr George disclosed that nearly 10,000 digital devices have already been distributed to learning centres nationwide, with a national registration portal expected to go live shortly, noting that private sector collaborators are supporting content delivery and funding, enabling the Government to scale the programme efficiently despite financial constraints.

Mr Halsinger expressed Code Raccoon’s readiness to support Ghana’s digital transformation agenda, revealing that the Ambylon platform currently hosts 5,744 courses covering coding, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurial skills, and other topics, designed to prepare learners not only for employment but also to become job creators.
