Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida received a $7,500 grant from the Charlotte Community Foundation to support programs serving Charlotte County residents. The unrestricted funding will be divided among Goodwill SWFL’s MicroEnterprise small business initiative, Disability Navigation services and the Port Charlotte Community Resource Center at 24123 Peachland Blvd. The nonprofit said the funding will help expand free services including job training, financial literacy education, digital skills classes, public benefits assistance and entrepreneurship training. Goodwill SWFL’s Mobile Unit also provides on-site employment and digital support services throughout the community.
