Less than a week before their jury trials were scheduled to begin, an Elizabethtown and a Wingo man, both accused of distributing child pornography, have both entered a guilty plea.

Jarred Scott Enoch, 36, of Wingo and Logan Samuel Wesley, 27, of Elizabethtown, both appeared Tuesday in Hardin Circuit Court, where they both entered a guilty plea to two counts of uploading and distributing child pornography files. Both were originally indicted on 10 counts each.

Both Enoch and Wesley were set to appear next Wednesday before jurors, but instead agreed to serve a 15-year sentence.

According to Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Teresa Logsdon, the children exploited in both cases were under the age of 12.

Logsdon said she believes the plea deal is an appropriate resolution.

Enoch and Wesley must also register for their lifetime on the sex-offender registry.

In Enoch’s case, Det. Adam Hutchinson with the Kentucky Office of the Attorney General received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a reported user uploaded 49 files depicting child sexual abuse material while online Feb. 17 using the messaging app Kik.

About the cases

According to Enoch’s arrest warrant, police reviewed images and videos and confirmed they depicted child sexual abuse. Some of the files depicted children younger than 12, police records show, and some depicted nude adults engaged in various sexual acts with the children.

A Kik account contained additional child sexual abuse material and selfie photos of the account holder, the warrant said.

Police say Enoch was living at a drug rehabilitation facility on Miles Street in Elizabethtown when he uploaded files on Dec. 26, 2025. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized from there and taken to a forensic laboratory for examination.

The Kentucky Office of the Attorney General began investigating Wesley in January 2025 when his actions were reported by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

During an interview with police, Wesley admitted to downloading, possessing and distributing and trading images during throughout 2024, his citation said.

Wesley admitted to police he was trading the images online to make money. He also told police that other people would pay him money via Venmo or CashApp for the pictures.

Welsey told police the youngest children he saw in the material he was selling were between the ages of 2 and 3.

Electronic devices were seized from Wesley’s home and will be examined at a forensic lab, officials from the attorney general’s office said.

Enoch was arrested in April 2025 and Wesley was arrested in March 2025.

Both men will appear in court on March 24 for formal sentencing.
